About Furr’s Buffet
Buffet Schedules
The lunch buffet is open on weekdays from Monday to Friday, running from 11AM to 4PM. Most adults pay the full buffet price, which is actually quite affordable. Seniors over 60 years old enjoy a slight discount, while children from 3 to 10 years old pay a lot less.
It’s a bit more expensive on weekends, but only for a dollar or so more. The same’s true for dinner on weekdays. Again, for dinner and weekends, seniors get a discount while the kids pay a lot less.
There’s even a to-go buffet available at Furr’s, with prices depending on the weight. You can get a combination of items and pay a few dollars per pound. You can also pick only from the entrees, but you pay a couple of dollars extra per pound.
Menu items change regularly, although you generally see classic American dishes among the offerings. Furr’s also often offer food packs depending on the season.
Regular items available includes boneless slices of smoked ham or turkey breast, with dressing made from scratch. There’s often a home-style mac and cheese, along with country-style green beans as your side dish. Other classic menu items can include mashed potatoes, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce, freshly baked dinner rolls, and lots of different pies for dessert.
Sometimes they also offer seafood as well. You really need to try out their butterfly shrimp, sometimes served with corn on the cob. Other seafood items may include potato-crusted white fish, baked fish and tilapia, popcorn shrimp, and Alfredo Seafood pasta.
