About Souplantation Buffet
It soon became famous for the freshly made soups, pizzas, and pastas, with excellent desserts, and bakery items. Its salad bars were always well-stocked.
Souplantation restaurants soon opened in more California locations. It also expanded outside the state, although in those places the restaurant was known as “Sweet Tomatoes”. Regardless of the name, it’s the favorite hangout of lots of families and groups of friends.
Schedules
In general, Souplantation locations ran the lunch buffet from 11AM to 4PM. Then the dinner buffet follows that, right until closing time. in some places, they also offer a breakfast buffet on Sundays, from 9AM to noon.
Younger children enjoy a discount, with kids younger than 3 years old able to eat for free. Free refills for drinks are also available after paying a set fee for either regular or large drinks. This is for both hot and cold drinks, so you can drink your fill of soda or coffee.
Lots of people here enjoy the salads, including the Backyard BBQ Turkey Salad, Caesar Asiago Salad, and the Wonton Happiness Salad. Other options include Joan’s Broccoli Madness with Bacon & Cashews, Tuna Tarragon Pasta Salad, and the Classic Potato Salad.
For soups, there are lots of options. There’s the Big Chunk Chicken Noodle, Deep Kettle House Chili, and the Cream of Mushroom Soup. You can go with the Yankee Clipper Clam Chowder with Bacon, the Santa Fe Black Bean Chili, or the Posole with Pork. Others like the Famously French Onion Soup and the Creamy Cauliflower & Cheese Soup.
